A little bit about me,

I have been drawing ever since I was old enough to hold a pencil. I started trying to draw comics back in high school and for a brief period of time I was really into superhero comics. But the chance discovery of volume 6 of the Zeta Gundam anime film comic at a local used book store in Atlanta changed everything for me, and from that point on all I cared about was manga.
Several years later I was in Japan on a year long exchange program that ended up lasting almost 4 and I decided to try my luck with the publishers there. The result over the phone or via email was always positive but when I would meet editors in person with my samples the result was usually, "but you're not Japanese?...". In fact everyone was pretty unreceptive to me in the industry there (the biggest exception being Monkey Punch who liked my art, gave me some good advice and then told me where to go meet girls. Fun guy.), so it wasn't until moving stateside with my wife that I got my first work in comic penciling several superhero books for every Major and most minor publishers. Since returning to America I've been constantly drawing comics, but the most enjoyable period of time has undoubtedly been the time I've spent on my Tokyopop books.
I'm going to work to make sure it stays that way and I stay right where I am. Keep your eyes open and I will keep you posted!

Bibliography

List of work to date:(I found a list online at the comic book database that contains a good portion of my work to date. It's not complete and for the life of me I can't actually remember everything I have worked on so I will try to add to it to reflect the body of work I have produced to date. I am also erasing the dates attached to the original list as they are way off (the original list had me working on LOTDK in 1989 and I don't think DC would hire a middle school student to draw comics). Nothing on the list was produced before 2002.)
